Policy Surveillance Program

The Policy Surveillance Program at the Center for Public Health Law Research has been dedicated to increasing the use of legal mapping and policy surveillance by sharing data and teaching the methods for researching and evaluating health law and policy.

Funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation from 2012, the Policy Surveillance Program has been primarily responsible for the development of legal mapping methods, training in legal mapping and policy surveillance, the production of legal mapping data, the ongoing maintenance of data libraries LawAtlas.org and PDAPS, and the development and maintenance of the software system, MonQcle.
