Legal Researcher Internship at the Center for Public Health Law Research

Summer 2026

The Center for Public Health Law Research is looking to fill positions within our Summer 2026 internship cohort (paid, unpaid, work study, or academic credit) through which interns will learn about legal epidemiology and conduct policy surveillance. Legal interns may conduct legal research using legal databases and state legislative resources; conceptualize the scope of research projects on emerging public health law issues; and collaborate with Center staff to perform other research, writing, and collaborative tasks such as writing policy memoranda, research protocols, and other materials that accompany and synthesize the research. The Center’s current research projects focus on some of the most critical issues in public health law, including the regulation of sexual and reproductive health, drug policy, state paid leave laws, and structural racism.
