Our mission is to create and advance research on the health effects of laws and policies.

We do this by serving as leaders in the field of legal epidemiology, conducting rigorous research on the health effects of laws and policies. We build capacity for the field — we develop technology, tools and resources to make legal epidemiology research more accessible and efficient. We teach legal epidemiology methods to advance the understanding of law as an influence on the public's health. And we share it with the world: we translate, disseminate and build community to support the spread of legal epidemiology tools, methods, and resources.
